Annadeene, who is a passionate contra, ballroom, and around-the-house dancer, finds that dancing is never far away from her daily experience. In the studio, you may catch her dancing, swaying, swerving, and dipping rhythmically to blues, jazz, bluegrass, folk and reggae music as she paints. Konesni brings this passion to her latest series.

Dances explores the interplay of texture, color, and movement, of physical line and brush stroke, in combination with the powerful energy and sensual emotion that swirls around dancers on the dance floor and, in their own kitchens.
