Article by hi joiney

Shenzhen police have informed the Foxconn “10th jump” findings. Police said the scene investigation by police, confirmed that the deceased jumped to his death as their own. According to the police about the dead bad temper, his lifetime gambling debt owed several thousand dollars, was extortion, and threatened revenge and showing attempts of suicide. (May 23, “Beijing Times”)

Needless to say, the capital of the pursuit of profit determine its nature and the game of interests between workers, workers rights and interests without the constraints assert and government will inevitably lead to unequal industrial relations, discord, and even strong conflicts. Such as working conditions, pay, working time, income growth, social protection of the law and labor rights, interests and aspirations of poor differentiation will inevitably lead to increasing conflicts between employers and employees. Since continuous exposure from the media, Foxconn has been set up love, such as room and even requested the monks try to remedy the practice of things. Foxconn

media quoted an employee as saying: “If the labor, management change mode, Foxconn will happen ‘even jump’.” This is no different from that Foxconn management at least there are some problems.

Why a salary is not low, but also free food and accommodation of the company, employees will be a substantial loss, monthly up to 2 million people? Staff their own reasons, whether it should be of concern? Exactly at this point, the lack of media. Jump to the 10th just south of staff, for example, he was a logistics officer Foxconn, wages per month from 1 to 2000. The day before the incident, he had told colleagues Mobile Robbed, so feel depressed. Combined with gambling debts owed to people, is being blackmailed, frustrated love, family home, it would not be suicide Why? Rational to say that suicide is the perpetrator of an autonomous choice, thus bringing their loved ones hurt and pain, should be given due attention. Unfortunately, this concern, sympathy and often submerged in the aftermath of the processed. It is this submerged as “N with jump” one thrust.

I do not intend to justify the objective environment, and who should bear responsibility, fair mind. But not the “temperature” as a hen hatching the internal, internal, or eggs. Internal cause is always fundamental, external conditions only. Therefore, suicide can not let go of the “murderers”, not in “murderers” to solve problems, only to take measures in the external causes, suicide is not out of the morass. Such as “new generation” foreign workers, due to Education Relatively high and relatively low life suffering, and therefore the gap between dreams and reality, make them more easily, “intolerable.” Also coupled with the lack of attitude of life experience and survival skills, it is easy to go to extremes. Therefore, in addition to the institutional level to create conditions to motivate them to live in dignity away, but also to improve their ability to survive, including anti-strike capability and problem-solving ability. And on their vulnerability and should not be over-pity?? Over mercy, will only have a misleading effect.

5 Must Haves for your volunteer/Intern and gap year trip

Article by Zablon Mukuba

When you are off to your long and exciting trip abroad, there are some important things you should carry with you. These things are essential to make you be able to enjoy your vacation. These things are useful for international volunteer s, gap years, international interns and tourists. They are important for the experienced travelers and for the first time travelers. They are practical equipment that everyone who travels should have. There is much more to get for your adventure abroad but I think these are things that you must have when you leave your home country:1. Cell PhoneMobile phones are very important in this day and age. You will need to be in communication with the people who are around you and family and friends who are at home.. Some mobile companies from your country allow you to use your number in which ever country you are in. Although it might be expensive to some it’s advisable to use the local mobile carriers. Most countries, including third world countries, have a suitable infrastructure for communication. There are many mobile or cell phone carriers. Many of the networks in Africa are GSM, GPRS, EDGE enabled. When traveling there carry a phone that is SIM enabled. Before travelling find out which mobile carriers are available, and what technology they use. Also inquire on the payment plans, like pay as you go etc. If you can’t get a mobile phone that you will be able to use in your destination country, there should be low cost mobile phones that you can buy there2. LaptopsIf you are planning to go for a long vacation, like a volunteer vacation or intern work placement and gap years. Laptops come in handy especially when you want to communicate with your family at home and the people who are with you. Laptops come in handy when you want to keep your work private. There are many internet devices that are low cost which one can purchase in the host country. Although the internet speeds won’t be as fast as what you are used to, it’s available in most countries at low cost. As you will be taking many photos having a laptop is handy as saving them will be easy. You will not run out of space. During those long hours where you have nothing to do, you can watch a movie or listen to songs. While you carry your laptop don’t forget to carry a multi plug that is appropriate for that region. Sometimes an adaptor is needed so that you don’t burn your laptop with too much electricity. 3. Mp3 player, hand held devicesThanks to Steve Jobs we have iPods, ipads and many mp3 players. Some of these devices come with large storage (some go up to 80 Gb), and some are able to play videos or movies on them. These come in handy when you are on transit. When you are waiting in the airport for your next flight, or during those long flights. Books are good to carry but during turbulence and bumpy rides it’s hard to read. And with audio books you will not need to carry the book itself. Whether you travel by road, air or by sea the Mp3 players will help the time move along faster. Also they are good in some instances you might be in a place where there are electricity interruptions. Other devices you can carry along with you are portable devices like PSPs, and Nintendo DS. If you are into video games carrying handheld devices help a lot to pass time.4. MedicineIf you have a medical condition, whether it is serious or mild, it’s advisable to carry your own medication. When you are in a third world country the medication that you might need might not be available. Or the one that is there might have negative side effects. Make sure you also carry double the medication that is prescribed, in case something happens and you lose the first prescription. If you are a female traveler, there things you will not find available in third world country, like make up and things that are essential to you. When travelling make sure you carry enough medication to get you through the vacation.5. GlassesIf you wear glasses or contact lenses, carry an extra pair. During your trip you might accidental loose them, or break them. Replacing glasses takes too long and even though you could be the most careful person something could happen and you lose them. Having an extra pair helps in such situations.

Easy Ways To Save Your Business Money, From Interns To VoIP Service Providers

Article by Mark Etinger

What with the economy in its current state, it makes sense that people are trying to save money whenever and wherever they can. If you own a business, you might find that harder and harder, but the truth is, there are a lot of ways to save your company money. Here are some of them:

1. Strike up a deal with local vendors. Say you own a restaurant or clothing shop. Talk to the sales department at a local newspaper or magazine and see if you can trade some advertising space for sale of their publication at your establishment. Or, if you own a venue of some sort, tell them they can hold their annual fundraiser at your place in exchange for half a year’s worth of ads.

2. Speaking of fundraisers, why not have one? Just because you’re a paper-supply company doesn’t mean you can’t hold a little carnival in the parking lot of your building. Charge a small admission fee (small, but enough that the business will make a profit on the sales), and show people how to have fun!

3. Hire interns. Interns are great because a.) they’re free, and b.) you can assign them pretty much any job you need done. It’s a win-win for everyone — they’re getting lots of experience, and you’re getting free labor. Of course, a little extra incentive is always nice, like travel or lunch fare, and there’s no reason not to reward them with little something extra at the end of their semester. It could be a gift, or even a small stipend. (Interns, too, are looking for a way to save money.) Even if you give them a couple hundred dollars you’ll still be paying way less than you would an actual employee.

4. Switch to a VoIP broadband phone. VoIP services are much less expensive than traditional copperwire phone systems, and they’re far more convenient because you can use them right in conjunction with you computer, or, if you prefer a simpler transition, you can get the handsets that look like regular phones.

5. Cut down on unnecessary costs. Don’t just say you’re going to do this — really do it. Sit down with the head of each of the company’s departments and figure out ways you can cut down on things like electricity, water use, and any unnecessary frills that are currently in place. Water coolers, for example, are a nice, but unneeded luxury. If you want clean, cold water, get a Brita filter and keep it in the refrigerator — cold water can easily become hot in the microwave or on a stovetop.

Also, make sure that all the lights and computers are turned off at night. Anything that doesn’t need to be on while no one’s in the office shouldn’t be. It might be more convenient to just leave a computer on all the time, but it’s an energy sucker.

There you have it — five simple ways to cut the costs of your business significantly. Well, what are you waiting for? Get to interviewing those interns and calling your local VoIP service providers!
